Infinite LTE Data

Virtual SIM Technology

What is a Virtual SIM?

The latest and greatest of innovations in the cellular industry, in regards to wholesale high usage data plans, is virtual or v-sim technology. What this accomplishes, is that it allows a device containing NO physical SIM card to connect to all cellular networks on both the GSM and CDMA networks.

Think of a SIM card where the numerical digits are kept in the cloud, instead of on the physical piece of plastic that is the SIM card. Then, assign that number to the cellular device that the consumer will need to connect their laptop, phone(s), game console, android stick, or spy-cam etc. Changing the virtual sim number from that device would be achieved with just a few strokes of the keyboard, instead of having to ship out another SIM card to the customer.

The Benefits of a V-SIM Hotspot

The other major benefit to this technology is it allows all carrier networks to be utilized without being tied to a specific rate plan, or carrier. Let us assume a specific scenario of a ‘van life’ couple who both work remotely. One week they may be closer to GSM network towers, which are used primarily by major carriers AT&T and T-Mobile, or an MVNO like Mint mobile. Then the following week they are closer to CDMA network towers, which are utilized primarily by Verizon or an MVNO such as Visible wireless.

As long as this ‘van life’ couple is within decent range of practically any cellular tower in the nation, then they would be able to get usable speeds for their work assignments. The virtual sim device is programmed to be able to detect the nearest cellular tower with the best reception, and lock onto those LTE bands.

Imagine another scenario where a business owner has multiple brick and mortar locations in different parts
of the country. That owner would not have to worry about which carrier has the best signal, and then have multiple accounts with different carriers and their separate plans and pricing.

This would be especially convenient if that business model had locations that just needed internet for the purpose of ‘spying’ on those locations 24/7 with a webcam. This technology is also a saving grace for the small niche of wholesale high usage data resellers and their customers.

In the past, and for current resellers still selling these plans, there have been plans attached to master vendor accounts with a specific carrier and rate plan that require a physical SIM card tied to a specific device and IMEI# allowance.

If something were to happen to this plan, like it got changed or shut down entirely, then a new SIM card would have to be sent to the customer for a whole new plan. Some incidents may even disallow a specific device(s) for that specific rate plan, requiring the customer to purchase another device for that new plan. This technology would eliminate that entire scenario from even happening.

These changing times require new measures and innovations, and for the increasing number of Americans whose living and working conditions are not conventional, we are happy to announce an effective solution.

With that, we bring you V-sim technology.
